Winterton-on-Sea is an ancient fishing village some 8 miles north of Great Yarmouth on the B1159.
It is a small village with around 650 houses and 1,500 inhabitants.
Near to the village, at Blood Hill, Somerton, is one of the first wind farms in the UK. The ten turbines were sited in 1992 and they generate 2.25 Mw which is enough to supply around 1000 homes.

The Valley Diary

The Valley Diary is a small printed publication which serves the villages of the Lavant Valley just outside Chichester in West Sussex, England, UK. The villages are Charlton, Chilgrove, East Dean, Singleton & West Dean.
The main purpose of The Valley Diary at it’s outset in 2004 was to publicise the forthcoming Diary of Events in the villages, to the people who live in them. Since then, The Valley Diary has developed to include some editorial content of interest to the people who live in the villages, reports and photos of events, quizzes and crosswords, news and reviews and various other content as submitted either regularly, occasional or just as one-offs.

Group4 & More website

The ‘Group4 & More’ website, is a local resource providing information for the West Norfolk villages of Barton Bendish & Eastmoor; Beachamwell, Shingham & Drymere; Boughton; Wereham and the surrounding areas.
The website can be found here. Although quite a bit of information is posted on the site no electronic newsletter links can be found.

Wickhamford Parish newsletter

The small picturesque village of Wickhamford lies midway between Evesham and Broadway on the A44.
Its name is derived from “Wiquene” as mentioned in the Doomsday Book of 1086 as belonging to Evesham Abbey.
At the heart of the village is the Manor House dating back to the 16th century and also the 13th century Church of St. John the Baptist.
The Parish Newsletters are delivered to all households within the village on a quarterly basis during the months of March, June, September and December.

It contains brief summaries of key reports, consultations and news with links to further information on their website and it will replace the large amount of paper-based information they currently send to councils.
